Virtual Merchant

Virtual Merchant is one of the many payment gateways supported by ProductCart.

In the Virtual Merchant administration area:

1. Create a live Virtual Merchant account, not a demo account.
2. Check Enable HTTP Transaction in Advance Terminal Settings – System Settings
3. Leave Use HTTP Referrers unchecked Advance Terminal Settings – System Settings
4. Create a new User in the Virtual Merchant Management Interface (Users – Create New User) and map this user to your store's terminal with CC Sales and CC Authorization permissions. This User ID will be your Virtual Merchant account ID to be entered in the ProductCart Control Panel. The same is true for the PIN.
5. Make sure that you have the “Sales Tax Required” check box unchecked

In the ProductCart Control Panel:

• Merchant ID: this is the master Account ID that you use to log into your Virtual Merchant account, and not the assigned Virtual Merchant User ID.
• User ID: This is the User ID mentioned above, which you created in the Virtual Merchant account administration area
• PIN: This is the PIN obtained from the Virtual Merchant account administration area
